Dr Fiona Kumfor, Dementia Law Network co-founder, gave evidence on 30 October 2023 at the NSW Parliamentary Inquiry on Equity, accessibility and appropriate delivery of outpatient and community mental health care in New South Wales. Among other issues, the Inquiry is considering alternatives to police for emergency responses to people experiencing behaviours in the context of dementia. The Inquiry continues in 2024.
